I think all the other related, or involved, or “observer” countries and their Intelligence Services should also declassify all the information they possess on this matter. Most importantly, it would be good, enlightening, and informative to hear from the New Abwehr themselves. Nothing but the complete disclosure would do. The complete or partial Amnesty should be considered, in my humble opinion, if it  is the most feasible way to deal with this issue; with the comprehensive and vigorous investigations and prosecutions as the inevitable alternative. Trump as the “Bad German: Kaiser, Hitler Archetype”

And this is according to the “New Abwehr’s” plot. The Great German Historical Drama of Totalitarianism was relived, reenacted in the reality show format, and demonstrated to the World as the sign of the universal (and not specifically German) human failure, thus mitigating the guilt. This dramatic collective emotional wound was arguably “undone“, in addition to the quite obvious geopolitical benefits.

“Ochlos is the same everywhere, and we know how to rule them, too”, that’s what they seem to say. “Und ZIZ IZ our Trump Card! And you better be the loyal, card carrying members of the Trump Order in zis little ex-Z-periment”. My, oh my… 

But was this Wagnerian-Jungian wound really explored and analysed, was it understood properly, and will it heal? Was the abscess drained? Was the German and global “catharsis” achieved? Or is the drama still ongoing? 

The show is run, as I see it now, by the “New Abwehr“, for the lack of a better and more suitable term. It is more than likely, that most of the other (besides those listed above) major significant developments and operations after the WW2 are related in one way or another to the hypothetical propaganda and influence operations on the grand historical and the spectacular, artistic, performance scales, which was the style of Admiral Canaris, and became the distinctive style of Abwehr, and after the WW2 it became the style of the “New Abwehr”. This style also appears to be pseudo-scientific, although technically quite advanced, biocentric conceptually, and Jungian in orientation.

Abwehr’s conceptual roots can be traced back to the mid-19 century, namely the emergence of the German General Staff as the independent intellectual and political force and the issues they had to grapple with, such as the Jews in the Military Intelligence Service and the Homosexuality in the military service. These issues, transformed through the prisms of personal lives of Admiral Canaris and Reinhard Heydrich, were eventually conceptualized as the Judeo-phobia and Homophobia, which became the distinctive features of Abwehr, and after the WW2, the “New Abwehr”. Jews and Homosexuals became the easy and convenient scapegoats to blame for the losses, and to vent the universal rage after WW1, and once again after the WW2, in the “New Abwehr’s” information wars, the propaganda and influence operations. 

This hypothesis and this phenomenon have to be acknowledged and addressed, they have to be explored, studied, researched, and investigated from the multi-disciplinary perspectives, including the Strategic Intelligence Analysis and Psychohistory (which form the natural and logical continuity), in-depth and in details. 

The recent development, labeled as the deft “administrative coup d’état”, can be viewed as another proof, that Hitlerism as Trumpism in the U.S. is simply impossible, due to the significant differences between the German and the American National Characters. Trump is no Hitler, “Trumpism” is no Hitlerism, and the United States are not the “Little Germany”. The main thing, maybe, is that there is no American Admiral Canaris around, although the New Abwehr tries very hard to fill the Master’s boots. Manafort, certainly, is no Canaris, either. 

In our days, most likely, the “New Abwehr”, which can be called by any other name (“Antwan“, for example), is the professional super-secret intelligence organisation and service whose primary mission is to advance the interests of Germany as the ethnic entity in all possible political and geopolitical aspects and respects, and also to serve the interests of the members of this new Trust. The real breadth of its powers has to be determined, and this phenomenon and the strategies of dealing with it have to be assessed. 

This group might had been constructed as the well engineered mechanism endowed with the German intellect, discipline, the sense of mission, and the traditions of conducting wars as the art and as the science. These are the intelligence, or hybrid wars, as we say today. This group, the so called “New Abwehr”, might not be inclined to stop until it achieves its overall goal, the German domination in the world.

Germans, even more than Russians, have a compulsive need to base everything on a “theory”, or something that looks and sounds like it. Apparently, the Abwehr and the German General Staff developed the concept of “A Man As A Weapon”, a soldier as an expendable bullet, and the military groups and organisations as the military mechanisms and machines. In their German thoroughness, they missed one thing: the human soul, which is quite a mysterious entity. “Animula vagula blandula…” 

A little missing detail; insignificant, intangible omission. This proved to be theirs, the mechanical strategists’ of the German military machine, undoing, the real one. Admiral Canaris and his (Jewish or part-Jewish) Abwehr, in their “kiss of death”, transmitted into the German Military the reviving breath of their  irrepressible Jewish Spirit  (whatever it is) and saved them from the complete and total annihilation, destruction, and obliteration. Paradoxically, very paradoxically. The resuscitation had been performed, the Beast (Blond and otherwise) had been resurrected, and it looks suspiciously like a Fat Cat Begemot, who ate the Canary, that looked like the Phoenix Bird. 

And they submitted their reports, for those who read them; and they attached their bone fide signatures too, for those who can decipher them. They are the Germans, after all: very honest, and very thorough, and the good record-keepers. And they have sent a lot of postcards from everywhere in between, too. Here is the example, hypothetical but convincing, it seems to me: “USS Cole“: “You, SS; See (C) Ole (and See (C) KOL; See! See! Cee!)”! If this hypothetical “message” and warning were recognized in time, maybe the 9/11 disaster would not happen.

So,  you cannot complain of the lack of attention and claim the total un-wittingness, un-clueness, and maybe even un-cleanness. The Abwehr boys poison the Social Communications and Information Flows like the saboteurs poison  the water wells. And we supply the waters. Fly, Phoenix Bird, high in the sky! Deutschland Uber Alles! 

What are the terms: “Willfull Blindness”? “Selective Hearing”? “Groupthink“? “Propaganda”? “Infiltration”? “Penetration”? “Deep Covers”? “Fronts”? “Gaslighting“? What else? Do you still want to go deeper? How deep? The mysteries exist to be unraveled. 

To be balanced and fair, I have to share my suspicion that the Abwehr’s penetration of state structures in the former USSR and now Russia, probably was and is even deeper and more invisible than anywhere else. Now the New Abwehr has a need to please the Russian Czar and to maintain the Potemkin veneer of closeness and “cooperation”, including in “intelligence sharing”. When the moment comes, and this factor is cancelled out, they will drop all the pretenses and good faces and will show their real face, the one of the Predator, and they will become quite visible. Hard to believe but it might happen. That’s what happened in the past. And the past behaviors of the individuals and groups are the best predictors of their future behaviors, the dictum goes; most of the time. The Repetition Compulsions of History. The nuclear weapons will not help in this situation, it is a different kind of war. 

Israel is a special case, and I did not look into this issue specifically, but I think that there might be some concerns too. It is possible that Israel was Abwehr’s “pet project” (for a variety of reasons) from the beginning, and that the Abwehr boys probably enjoyed and managed to a certain degree the Israeli  conflicts with the Brits in the mid-late 1940-s.

On this photograph above, the two men are pictured: Admiral Wilhelm Canaris and his “creature” and “Pygmalionic creation”, the Gestapo chief Reinhard Heydrich, both of whom were, as it looks (trust your eyes more than the history books), Jewish and Gay.

Why wasn’t this circumstance  observed and pointed out earlier, and by many other authors? Because people did not “feel comfortable” talking about these “issues and matters” and hearing about them until very recently. However, these suspicions and questions were around for some time apparently, and they were, most likely, the subjects of many investigations by the Nazis, documented or not. 

“Heydrich had met Canaris in July 1923 whilst stationed together on the Cruiser “Berlin,” and Canaris mentored him (both Heydrich and Canaris’ wife Erika played the violin) until Heydrich eventually became a party favorite. They remained friends and neighbors in Schlachtensee until Heydrich’s death in mid-1942, though their professional relationship soured during the war when they were involved with different intelligence agencies (Abwehr and Sicherheitsdienst).”

“With a strict, nationalistic father, Reinhard did well at school and was quite patriotic. Many of his classmates thought that he was Jewish for whatever reasons, and they took to calling him “Moses Handel” and bullied him. Young Reinhard took the insults hard, and they festered throughout his life…

Party boss Gregor Strasser (before being knocked off by Hitler, Hermann Goering, and Heydrich in the Night of the Long Knives) passed the allegations on to Party racial “expert” Dr. Achim Gercke. Gercke cleared Heydrich completely, calling Heydrich “… of German origin and free from any colored and Jewish blood.” This was the equivalent of a dispensation from the Pope.”

This “Clearance Operation”, just like all the other significant events in Heydrich’s life, were arranged by the Admiral Canaris, of course. 

‘I doubt if I would ever have married him if he had not played the violin so beautifully.’ Lina Heydrich [nee Lina von Osten] reflects on her late husband. They used to play together with Canaris’ wife.

Is this, on the photo above, one of the Reinhard Heydrich’s doubles? My guess is that the “doubles” were the Canaris’ invention, and he used them broadly. My other guesses are that it was the doubles who were killed for both Heydrich, in that staged assassination in Prague of 1942, and for Canaris, in his staged execution in the concentration camp. 

The two men served together on the Cruiser (ain’t it symbolic…) “Berlin”, when Heydrich was in his early 20-s, and Canaris was in his mid 30-s. That’s when their affair started. This extraordinary love affair (with a lot of historical precedents), the core issues of which were the Antisemitism and Homophobia (first, as the reasons for employing the deep, sophisticated covers and the series of disguises and various protective maneuvers, and later as the determined, lethal, deadly, uncompromising protest and the rebellion),  set in motion, in accordance with Canaris’ plans and designs for Germany, the road to Fascism and National Socialism, which proved to be a mistake and the immense global tragedy. Hitler and the others were his convenient fronts, his secret puppets. Very often, the historical truths are much more dramatic than the legends constructed for the various reasons, for the convenient public consumption,  to hide them and to cover them up. 

Canaris tried to correct his mistakes after the official end of the war, continuing it clandestinely with the preserved, deeply hidden, and revived Abwehr. He managed all these activities, with the help of the very significant amount of the stolen and appropriated Nazi Gold, and also with the help of Vatican, which had its own agenda (to preserve its flock), from his villas in Spain. My imagination pictures him as The Gardener, coming regularly to visit his family and his two daughters, incognito; and planting the seeds of his future active operations and the propaganda campaigns while away, in his other secluded villas serving as his command centers. 

There he was with Gen. Hans Oster (most likely, also his lover) and possibly with Reinhard Heydrich, who was kidnapped and delivered to his partner after been substituted by a double in the Prague attack of 1942. The stories of Heydrich’s assassination and Canaris’ execution at Flossenburg are the carefully constructed covers and the legends. 

“The story of the assassination of Heydrich by the Czech resistance does not, as of today, include any connection to Canaris.   But it is clear that with the demise of Heydrich, much of the pressure on the Abwehr from Himmler and the SS began to die away, at least for awhile.  As such, knowing that Canaris was in contact with British Intelligence, it would not be stretch to believe that he had something to do with the plan to kill Heydrich.  History records that the plot was hatched in London by the Czech government in exile and British Intelligence.   If Canaris was involved, it will take the opening of MI-6’s archives to reveal it.”

“Finally on 7 Feb 1945 Himmler ordered him to be dispatched to Flossenberg concentration camp. Then after the routine inspection he was placed in cell 21 and this would be his last living abode on earth. (It’s also interesting that the Navy connection even applied here because the camp commandant, Jakob Weiseborn, served in the navy for eighteen years. I suspect the two men certainly knew each other but it is a coincidence!)”

“One of Canaris’ fellow prisoners at Flossenburg was the former Director of Danish Military Intelligence, Col. Lunding.  He occupied the cell next to Canaris.  On the morning of his murder, Canaris told him by tapping out morse code on the wall,

“This is the end.  Badly handled.  My nose broken.  I have done nothing against Germany.  If you survive, please tell my wife.”

Lunding recalled after the war watching the naked Admiral being led to his execution.

Another member of the Abwehr who managed to escape to Switzerland and survive the war, Hans Gisevius, wrote of his friend Adm. Canaris, in a book in 1947 “To The Bitter End”,

“Canaris hated not only Hitler and Himmler, but the entire Nazi system as a political phenomenon .. He was everywhere and nowhere at once.  Everywhere he traveled, at home and abroad and to the front, he always left a whirl of confusion behind him.”

Admiral Canaris left a “whirl of confusion” for us too. We have to unravel it. 

The story of Canaris led to his execution naked, at Hitler’s orders, apparently implied that Canaris was Jewish and circumcised, and that it was discovered and had to be demonstrated to the troops as the undeniable fact of his treachery. It is more likely that the circumcised Jewish prisoner or Canaris’ double was selected for this role, and Canaris, Hans Oster, who was with him in Flossenburg, and many other Abwehr leaders escaped with Canaris or soon after, from the concentration camps or their hiding places, and joined the new Abwehr command and control centers in their villas in Spain. Furthermore, the Flossenberg’s commandant was the old time Navy officer and probably the old acquaintance or the friend of Canaris, and this circumstance might have helped too. The whole plot including the “Canaris Diary” based on “Donyanyi’s extensive notes about  Nazi atrocities” was one of the Canaris’ dramatic designs. 

Canaris tried to warn the Allies including the USSR through Zorge, about the start of military actions but this information was universally distrusted and ignored. 

“But what of the man: Was he a patriot or traitor? (This) is one of the riddles of the Second World War. Or was he spirited out of Germany with the assistance of Alan Dulles bringing millions of dollars of Nazi gold with him that would later it is claimed help fund the new CIA out of the ashes of the old OSS. It’s all speculation of course and highly unlikely.”

We do not really know, how much of this is “all speculation of course”, and we do not know, how likely or unlikely it was. In my humble opinion, I think, it is very possible and very likely. And ignoring this possibility, with all its ramifications, is one of the greatest mistakes we can make. 

All the significant events after the WW2 reflect this activity, and these events have to be analyzed and reassessed properly to reveal these connections. This interpretation is the major historical reassessment and re-conceptualization, it puts all the pieces of the puzzle together, and they fit with each other quite nicely.

They, “those Juden”, German Jews and part-Jews who apparently staffed the Abwehr and some of the Government and the Nazi apparatus, felt themselves German and Aryans more than the “pure ethnic” Germans; it was, probably, the psychological mechanism of overcompensation that drove them. They were more (more sincere, deeper, smarter, brainier, etc.) of the “true German patriots” than all the bunch of those hysterical psychopathic Nazis put together. They did everything they could to save the German military officers after the war and to aid the resurrection of Abwehr (first) and then, by extension, the resurrection of Germany. In their minds, they were the Germans, first of all and most of all, and they might or might not have been aware of the complexities of their ethnic origins. This is one of the greatest ironies of History. 

Und Zis iz mein humble hermeneutic interpretation. I do not know (and I do) what else I can or should say on this subject. It looks (to me, at least), that this great historical puzzle might have been solved, at long last; if only largely, tentatively, and as a working hypothesis. A lot of historical and other research work is needed to confirm or to reject this thesis. A lot of work, my dear Admiral and my dear Billy-boy, it has to get started. Au!

If you have a player-opponent in the persona of Admiral Canaris and/or his brainchild, the New Abwehr, it changes the whole game, my friends; and we better start understanding this game and its rules. 

The current crisis is rooted in the past. Besides the connection with McCarthyism, described below, and among the plethora of other historical allusions, the connections with the Kennedy assassinations are also tragically evocative.

They transformed themselves into the very effective “peacetime” weapon. Hitler lost the War in 1945, Canaris won it (symbolically, and with the certain reservations, of course) fifty years later, in the mid- 1990-s, after the dissolution of the USSR and the reunification of Germany.  It is possible that they celebrated this “Victory” with the symbolic, performance like operations “Trump” and “9/11”.  McCarthy and McCarthyism were the “Muck Cart“: they just love using the “telling” symbolic names as the means of broadcasting and communications, for those who are supposed to understand. Operation “Muck Cart” was a precursor to operation “Trump”. Both operations are conceptually, “ideologically” related and they contain very strong clues and indications that both of these hypothetical “operations” might have been the elaborate, very well thought out, planned and designed, influence and propaganda operations by the post-WW2 Abwehr. Historically, McCarthyism coincides with the momentous events in the USSR: death of Stalin and de-Stalinization (Khrushchev’s secret speech of 1956). The operation “Muck Cart” – McCarthyism was used to dispose of the bunch of the former and present “Communist opponents”, who were carefully spied on, researched, and, finally “de-activated” and neutralized by Abwehr, in addition to the very clear geopolitical benefits for Germany.  Operation “Trump” is connected with McCarthyism by the direct, demonstrative, revealing, signature link: Roy Cohn, “The King of Con“, King Kong, “The Beast In Need Of Love” – “The Evil Jew As The Weapon Of The German (Military) Intelligence”.  No one person and no one country would be able to investigate these and other related and relevant hypotheses by themselves. The International Committee, with the broad investigative and the executive powers, might be the most suitable and viable solution.  These issues: “Abwehr” and its operations after the WW2 have to be addressed in the fullest.  Admiral Canaris screams from his grave: “I am not a traitor! I did it for Germany!”  The culture  of the Intelligence Institutions, and such legends as Abwehr in particular, perpetuates itself relentlessly through generations. The Abwehr agents became the biological-genetic, ideological, cultural, secret military, live weapon, self-sustaining, autonomous, and procreating. The design of the Genius, in his field. The product of the complex, rich, contradictory, and the extraordinary mind of Admiral Canaris.  The Abwehr boys are proud. They leave their signature clues, deliberately. For those who will be able to understand. They want their credit due, as the “good German boys” and “good soldiers”.  The World is silent and confused. The World needs to understand. The World needs to investigate. And the German people need to understand and to investigate themselves, most of all and first of all. This hypothesis is not directed against them; the answers, even the partial and incomplete, should help the Germans themselves to understand their own history, and the deep, unresolved, still simmering under the surface, social, emotional, political, and historical conflicts. To prevent the mistakes of the Past, just the memory of them is not enough; the deep, comprehensive, definitive understanding and analysis are needed. M.N.: This penchant for obtaining the computerized databases, by all means available, chimes well with the central characteristic of the recent waves of the “Performance Crimes“, and also the Trump-Russia Affair. These operations would be impossible without the sophisticated use of the comprehensive collections of the various databases.

All of this is so much in a plain sight, that is why it is so hard to see!  What do our intelligence officials think about it?  Is it not the right time to acknowledge and to address this issue and problem?  See the previous posts on this subject:  THE “GERMAN HYPOTHESIS” OF THE “TRUMP-RUSSIA SCANDAL” The mask of humanity, the face of hypocrisy: “My mistress’ eyes are  nothing like the sun… black wires grow on her head…” The height of this hypocrisy which is not unusual for the Germans and for the Russians at all (review their history, especially the recent one) is that the “German Marshall Fund“, swollen with the newly found gold, initiated its own high power study of the Russian interference in the US elections of 2016, apparently to deflect the attention from their own role in the Trump – Russia affair.  “Чем кумушек считать трудиться, / Не лучше ль на себя, кума, оборотиться?” Ms. Merkel speaks good Russian, so she will be able to understand this quote quite well.  Mr. Putin speaks good German, so apparently, they understand each other very well.  And it shows.  They have the same mentality, and the same geopolitical interests (that what counts!) and goals, the main part of which is to weaken their main geopolitical competitor and rival, the United States.  Listen to what George Friedman had to say about this, again: “The primordial interest of the United States for centuries (WWI, WWII and the Cold War) has been to stop a coalition between Germany and Russia.”  Is the building and development of this “new” (but rotten and historically meaningless, as always) Russian-German “coalition” going exactly as it was planned in high secrecy in the KGB and the Stasi offices about half a century ago? Is this something like another “non-aggression pact“? Its 78-th anniversary is coming tomorrow, on August 23 – is this what they are celebrating now? Please, also note the differences in the frequency and the severity of the “terrorist attacks” in Germany and Russia as compared with Great Britain and France, for example. Do the accurate statistical studies to confirm this impression, if you wish.  It is in overarching German geopolitical interests to play Russia and the US against each other, as much as they can, and for as long as they can. And this is exactly what we are seeing now. Do not underestimate the potential of the German intelligence. The Abwehr is back, and it exercises its collective brain gyri with gusto, revenge, and enjoyment but extra carefully; their actions are under the deep covers but in full swing. They fooled everyone. Deep deceit and the multiple covers probably are the favorite, well tried and tested, historical tactics of the German Intelligence, and especially the German Military Intelligence. Buyer beware! Personally, I do not know much about it, and it would be good to hear from someone who does, if such a knowledge exists in any way, shape, or form. They unleashed the information war against the U.S. under the well-constructed Russian-Israeli covers, they studied the process and the particulars of this attack, and they did everything possible to immunize and protect themselves from these types of information war directed against themselves. “Weeks after the election of President Trump, Bruno Kahl, the head of Germany’s foreign intelligence service, the BND, warned of cyber attacks aimed at “delegitimizing the democratic process” in Germany. Ms. Merkel herself has issued similar warnings.”  Doesn’t it remind you something, like Dr. Mengele’s experiments in the Nazi concentration camps?  This attitude betrays their deeply rooted insecurity and their historical existential fears mixed with the unbound aggression potential, which looks like the logical and the inevitable attitude on the part of the defeated and conquered, and truly great nation.  If “Germany’s Russian minority could boost far right”, then why, hypothetically, the Russian speaking groups in the US could not similarly influence the American politics at the Moscow’s command?  There is no anti-German or anti-Russian prejudice here, do not even try to hang it on me, I am of the Russian-Jewish origin myself. It is just the plain old common sense, some knowledge of the Russian-speaking (and quite heterogeneous) culture and Russia’s present situation; and a lot of concerns: about the U.S. and the stability of its political system (the present crisis is still hard to imagine but is very, very real, despite some melodramatic, soap-opera-like quality in it, which probably is a part of the design), about the direction that Russia is now taking in her development, about Germany’s still unresolved, swept under the rug, social-historical-emotional conflict, and her old wound, and the emerging new attitudes, etc., etc..  And now, what is to be done about all of this? This is one of those “eternal questions” that are inseparable from the Russian history.  There must be some people who are in the know, but so far they do not talk about their impressions and about their plans, wisely.  Michael Novakhov 9.22.17 Putin’s Dead Souls Putin’s pro-Trump operation: the dead souls, political marketing, and psychotronic weapons – by Michael Novakhov The improvement in the US – Russia relations is needed, and it is desirable. It looks like they cannot descend any lower, as Mr. Tillerson noted. But who needs the “false”, pretended, “make believe” improvement, rather than the real one? The Russians have the incurable historical affliction with the “Potyomkin villages”.  This story rings also with the other Russian literary-historical allusion, Gogol’s “The Dead Souls”. Mother Russia (whoever is behind this front) is in her old, familiar and the most favorite historical element: creating, operating, buying, and weaponizing The Dead Souls, in this case, the fake social media accounts and the automated bots. This political necrophilia points to the main historical problem of the contemporary Russian society and culture: the Russian collective soul is dead and without a future. The modern Chichikovs trade their stuff and goodies in the similar underhanded ways and for the similar purposes: prestige, wealth, and the illusion of power. And the essence of this operation is the same: deception, although on a grand, truly Russian scale. Mr. Putin had already married Mother Russia by deceit and his political chicanery. Now he wants to start a romance with Uncle Sam too, and decides to strategically flood the social media with the pre-election messages via the “dead souls’ bots”.  As Sen. Mark Warner put it, Facebook’s disclosure could be just “the tip of the iceberg.” This circumstance gives us even more reasons to believe that “a Facebook warrant could signal a turning point in Mueller’s investigation”. “We don’t know what these Facebook ads looked like, we don’t know who they were targeting, and we don’t know how many millions of Americans may have been exposed to them.” And we do need to know the answers to these and many other questions.  If it is convincingly demonstrated that the extent of this problem is significant enough to affect the outcome of the elections (and that’s how it looks in key, “swing” states now), and the hostile foreign power was behind it, then the legitimacy of elections should and will be questioned and legally challenged, which may lead to their annulment and the new substitute elections.  “While Facebook hasn’t publicized many specifics about the Russian political ad efforts, The Wall Street Journal reports that special counsel Robert Mueller has copies of the ads, information about the accounts that purchased them, as well as about the targeting criteria they used.” Putin’s Pro-Trump Operation May Have Been Far Bigger Than We Yet Know – Mother Jones: this article is a good, up to date summary of the issues under discussion. Some of these issues, although not discussed widely, are the Connections between the accidents, incidents, and elections – did we look into it? – (by Michael Novakhov – 9.12.17):  If “Russia used Facebook to organize racist rallies to help Trump”, why can’t we venture a mental step further and assume that the increase in the incidents of mass shootings, aggression against the police, incidents  with the racial overtones, transportation accidents, all of which demonstrate the clear statistical “pre-election bumps” (hikes, increases), in 2008, and in 2012, and in 2016, were inspired, and/or conducted by the same actors, and with the same goal: to “elect” their candidate, which in 2016 apparently was Trump. Did we look into it? The answer, (that all these listed phenomena are the hypothetical parts of the same operational whole) is clear to me, on the basis of the daily monitoring of the press reports on these subject in 2015 and 2016. Compile and analyze the statistics, and I think, you might get the same or the very similar impression. See also posts on this subject in my blogs. It is interesting to note, that this opinion, regarding the presence of the signs of the foreign interference in the elections prior to 2016, (although not necessarily with the same range of agreed upon details and analysis, and independently arrived at), coincides completely with the opinion of Mike Pompeo who surely is very well informed on this subject. CIA Director Mike Pompeo: ‘Of course’ Russia interfered in the 2016 election, ‘and the one before that… I am confident that the Russians meddled in this election, as is the entire intelligence community,” Pompeo said, appearing agitated at the skepticism towards his previous answer. “I hope I didn’t stop at 2008 [for when he says Russian began interfering in U.S. elections]. You can go back to the 70s. My point was simply this: This threat is real. The U.S. government, including the Central Intelligence Agency, has to figure out a way to fight back against it and defeat it. And we’re intent upon doing that.”  There must be a much broader group of people who share more or less the same impressions and the same opinion: the foreign interference in the US elections is a long-standing phenomenon, and especially malignant from 1950-s, on a post-WW2 wave.  What we need now, is not just the impressions and opinions, but more or less definitive studies, including the high-quality statistical ones, on this very important and forward-looking subject, and also, of course, the strategic thinking and the strategic planning.  See also:  I will call him “Ishmael”: The Global and The US Domestic Terrorism Incidents, The Mass Shooting Incidents, and The Incidents of Shooting at the U.S. Police Officers: Comparisons and The Illustrations for The Statistical Analysis – 11.23.16  These issues, described above, might not be under the direct purview of Mr. Mueller’s Investigation. Clearly, they are enormously important, and we also have to consider our common, human, and understandable reluctance to look into this moral and the political abyss. However, we have to do this: to investigate these hypothetical connections with the utmost thoroughness and depth, the wellbeing of this nation depends on it. I think, in my, as always, very humble and the non-specialist opinion, that the DOJ and the FBI have to either establish a separate investigation into these matters or to broaden the scope and the mandate of Mr. Mueller’s investigation.  This article below, which just came to light, about the very unusual FBI’s severe underreporting of their informants’ “Otherwise Illegal Activity” in the election year of 2016, might or might not have something to do with this. USS Cole suspects said to face trial soon

The weekly September 26, published Thursday, said a team of U.S. investigators was expected in Sanaa soon for talks on closing the case concerning the attack on the destroyer in Aden harbor in October 2000. Seventeen sailors were killed and 39 were injured and the U.S. Navy halted refueling stops in Yemen. Investigations into the Cole attack were completed some time ago but putting the suspects on trial was delayed at the request of the United States, the magazine said. The trial is to be open to the public to avoid criticism by human rights groups. The suspects are believed to be linked to Osama bin Laden’s al Qaida terrorist network.
